The Computer Centre (CC) provides centralized computer facilities for the staff and students. CC is in charge of computers, printers, scanners, LCD projectors, campus networking and the internet facility. The CC now has around 210 desktop computers, two leased line internet connections (combined bandwidth 500 Mbps), and a 20Mbps NMEICT connection. Students and employees will have access to both wired and wireless internet. WiFi internet service is available at both hostels.

Authentication

A firewall-based authentication system limits access to the college network and internet connectivity.

Browsing

Computer lab is open for browsing from 9.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. on all week days.

Jecc WiFi

The staff and students of the institution can avail the Wi-Fi facility of the college 24 hours.

Support System

For technical assistance, CC maintains a mail-based system. Students and staff can request for any services by mail, and they will be addressed by CC staff. Proactive maintenance is done periodically.

Online Examination and Training

CC contains computers with quad-core, Core i3, and Core i5. The systems, which run on both Linux and Windows, are completely networked and monitored. This lab is used for practical training programs, technical Training sessions, short term courses, national level workshops for students as well as for online placement and other exams. For the GATE, JIPMER, CATCOMEDK, Cambridge, RRB, NABARD, ESIC, CUET, Bank Exams, and NSEIT Examinations, our college is an authorized online exams centre.

CC Administration

CC was established in 2002. The functions of the CC are governed by an internal committee. The day-to-day operations of CC are managed and maintained by a core team of professors and staff from the CC and CSE department.
